Age is just a number

Via Humans of Bombay:

“I got married during a time when taking a honeymoon trip wasn’t even in the rule book. The maximum distance we would go to was our village near the city. Now, years have passed since then. My kids are settled, so their kids, and their kids’ kids. Finally, after all this time, my journey has begun once again. I have a group of friends with whom I go on trips. We contribute money through the year and then organise full fledged vacation for us all. It might not look like it, but I’ve visited tons of places in India – from Kanyakumari to Kerala, from Bangalore to Goa. I’m a very experienced traveller now! I’m already planning my next trip to Delhi, and after that I want to see the Taj Mahal. I began traveling when I was 70, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Age is just a number at the end of the day.”
